Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, an additional desalting step is recommended (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
This potassium channel is regulated by G proteins. Inward rectifier potassium channels preferentially allow potassium ions to flow into the cell rather than out of it. Their voltage dependence is influenced by extracellular potassium concentration; as external potassium increases, the voltage range for channel opening shifts to more positive values.
Inward rectification is primarily due to blockage of outward current by internal magnesium. This receptor is essential for regulating cardiac rhythm.
