Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (recommended: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
J chain is a small glycopeptide synthesized by plasma cells secreting polymeric immunoglobulins. It is linked to IgA and IgM via disulfide bonds, and can also be detected in IgG- and IgD-containing cells. J chains are abundant in immunoglobulin-positive cells within germinal centers of tonsil and lymph node. Expression occurs early in B cell differentiation and persists in cells producing IgA or IgM.
