The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
Anti-human Polynucleotide Kinase (PNK) Polyclonal Antibody recognizes a 57 kDa nuclear enzyme involved in DNA strand repair processes during replication, recombination, and in response to DNA damage. PNK phosphorylates and dephosphorylates DNA termini (5'-hydroxy and 3'-phosphate) to facilitate repair by DNA polymerase-beta and DNA ligase III. It is a key component in maintaining genomic stability in human cells.
