Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (e.g., using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
POU5F1 (OCT4) is a maternally expressed octamer-binding transcription factor essential for early embryonic development. It is a key regulator in maintaining pluripotency and self-renewal of stem cells.
OCT4 expression, along with Sox2, Klf4, Lin28, and c-Myc, enables the generation of induced pluripotent stem (iPS) cells from somatic cells. Recent studies have shown that iPS cells can be generated using plasmid-based expression systems, eliminating viral vector risks and enhancing safety for regenerative medicine applications.
