Target Information
JunD는 JunD 유전자에 의해 암호화되는 전사 인자로, 세포 스트레스에 반응하여 c-Jun N terminal kinase (JNK)/Stress-Activated Protein Kinase (SAPK) 경로를 통해 인산화되어 전사 활성도가 조절됩니다.
Jun 단백질은 Fos, ATF, CREB 계열 전사 인자와 이합체를 형성하여 AP-1 복합체를 구성하며, 세포 성장, 증식, 분화, 세포사멸 등 다양한 유전자 발현을 조절합니다.
또한 JunD는 IGF-1 신호 경로를 조절함으로써 대사 과정에도 중요한 역할을 합니다.
