This antibody detects endogenous levels of EPHA2 only when phosphorylated at Tyr930.
Target Information
EPHA2 belongs to the ephrin receptor subfamily of the protein tyrosine kinase family. EPH and EPH-related receptors are involved in developmental processes, particularly in the nervous system. EPHA2 is overexpressed in various human cancers. The tyrosine kinase (TK) family regulates cell-cell interactions such as differentiation, adhesion, motility, and apoptosis. There are approximately 90 TK genes identified: 58 receptor protein TKs (e.g., EGFR, EPH, FGFR, PDGFR, TRK, VEGFR) and 32 cytosolic TKs (e.g., ABL, FAK, JAK, SRC).
