Target Information

ELL는 RNA polymerase II 전사 과정에서 일시적 정지를 억제하여 촉매 속도를 증가시키는 super elongation complex (SEC)의 구성 요소입니다. 또한 little elongation complex (LEC)의 구성 요소로서 RNA polymerase II 및 III에 의한 작은 핵 RNA(snRNA) 유전자 전사를 조절합니다.
ELL은 SEC 복합체에 조립되기 전 초기 단계에서 RNA polymerase II의 모집 및 개시를 안정화하며, pre-initiation complex와 early elongation을 안정화하는 데 필수적인 역할을 합니다.
