EZH2 (Histone-lysine N-methyltransferase)는 Polycomb-group (PcG) 단백질군의 구성원으로, 유전자 발현의 억제 상태를 세대 간 유지하는 데 관여합니다. 이 단백질은 embryonic ectoderm development protein, VAV1 oncoprotein, X-linked nuclear protein과 결합하며, 조혈계 및 중추신경계에서 중요한 역할을 할 수 있습니다. EZH2 변이는 Weaver syndrome (WVS)을 유발할 수 있습니다.
