Target Information
HEMGN regulates the proliferation and differentiation of hematopoietic cells. Overexpression of HEMGN blocks TPA-induced megakaryocytic differentiation in the K562 cell model. HEMGN may also prevent cell apoptosis through activation of nuclear factor-kappa B (NF-kB).
