For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to reach a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

The SCP2 gene encodes two proteins: sterol carrier protein X (SCPx) and sterol carrier protein 2 (SCP2), produced via two independently regulated promoters.

• SCPx: Peroxisome-associated thiolase involved in oxidation of branched-chain fatty acids.
• SCP2: Intracellular lipid transfer protein.
  This gene is highly expressed in organs associated with lipid metabolism and may be involved in Zellweger syndrome, characterized by peroxisomal deficiency and impaired bile acid synthesis.
  Alternative splicing generates multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms.
