Product Specific Information
The monoclonal mouse IgG2b kappa is useful as an isotype control immunoglobulin.
This eBMG2b antibody has been reported for use in flow cytometric analysis.
It has been tested by flow cytometric analysis of mouse splenocytes and normal human peripheral blood cells and should be used at the same concentration as the experimental antibody.
Alexa Fluor 660 emits at 690 nm and is intended for use on spectral cytometers where it may be multiplexed with APC, Alexa Fluor 647 and Alexa Fluor 700.

Target Information
Mouse IgG2b is a subtype of immunoglobulin G antibody produced by B cells in response to an antigen. It is the third most abundant IgG subtype in the serum and plays a crucial role in the adaptive immune response.
Composed of two heavy and two light chains, it is involved in opsonization, complement activation, and antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity.
It also regulates immune responses, including T cell activation and inhibition of B cell activation.
Mouse IgG2b is widely used in research and diagnostic applications such as ELISA, Western blotting, and immunohistochemistry, and in therapeutic applications including immunotherapy and vaccine development.
