Target Information
SLC35C2 may play an important role in the cellular response to tissue hypoxia. It may function as a GDP-fucose transporter competing with SLC35C1 for GDP-fucose, or as a factor enhancing the fucosylation of Notch, which is required for optimal Notch signaling in mammalian cells.
