• The antibody ships as a lyophilized powder at room temperature.
• Upon arrival, store at -20°C.
• Reconstituted solution can be stored at 4°C for up to 1 week.
• For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C.
• Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles.
• Centrifuge all antibody preparations before use (10,000 × g, 5 min).

Target Information

TRPV3 belongs to a family of nonselective cation channels involved in temperature sensation and vasoregulation. Thermosensitive members of this family are expressed in subsets of sensory neurons terminating in the skin and are activated at distinct physiological temperatures. TRPV3 channels are activated at 22–40°C and are located near the TRPV1 gene on chromosome 17. TRPV3 and TRPV1 proteins may form heteromeric channels.
