Target Information
BAI1 is a p53-target gene encoding a brain-specific angiogenesis inhibitor, a seven-span transmembrane protein thought to belong to the secretin receptor family. Brain-specific angiogenesis proteins BAI2 and BAI3 share structural similarity and tissue specificity with BAI1 and may also play roles in angiogenesis.
