Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
XRCC1 (X-ray cross complementing factor-1) is a 70 kDa protein involved in DNA base excision repair.
It interacts with DNA repair enzymes such as PARP, DNA Ligase III, and DNA Polymerase β.
XRCC1 contains a BRCT domain, which mediates protein-protein interactions, including with DNA Ligase III-α.
This domain was originally identified in the tumor suppressor protein BRCA1.
