Compact and Stand-alone Instrument
KingFisher Apex Dx is compact and stand-alone, allowing easy setup of extraction runs, instrument control, and report downloads directly from the instrument—no external computer required.
Adaptable Sample Throughput
Interchangeable 96- and 24-magnet heads and heating blocks provide flexibility to adjust sample throughput and volume as required.
IQ/OQ Services for Regulatory Compliance
On-site Installation Qualification (IQ) and Operational Qualification (OQ) services are included to support regulatory compliance.
OQ is recommended after relocation, software or hardware upgrades, planned maintenance, or critical repairs.
SmartStart Orientation
SmartStart Orientation is included with the instrument purchase. This training—available on-site or remotely—provides an in-depth understanding of the instrument through interactive sessions led by an experienced Field Application Scientist (FAS).
AB Assurance Dx Service Plan
The AB Assurance Dx service plan is designed for IVD instruments to maintain performance and ensure system availability.
It includes planned maintenance, qualification services, proactive monitoring (where available), and timely service response—ideal for clinical and IVD laboratories requiring minimal downtime.
All service and qualification documentation support customer Quality Management Systems (QMS).
Optional Diomni™ Enterprise Software
Diomni™ Software provides remote, browser-based connectivity and management for compatible Thermo Fisher Real-Time PCR instruments (e.g., QuantStudio 7 Pro Dx, QuantStudio 5 Dx).
