Target Information
Avpr2는 arginine vasopressin과 두 개의 관련 단백질(neurophysin 2 및 glycopeptide copeptin)로 구성된 전구체 단백질입니다. Arginine vasopressin은 시상하부의 시신경상핵과 시상하부의 실방핵에서 합성되는 후엽 뇌하수체 호르몬으로, neurophysin 2와 함께 신경분비 소포에 포장되어 축삭을 따라 신경후엽으로 운반됩니다. 이곳에서 저장되거나 혈류로 분비됩니다. Avpr2는 신장에 직접적인 항이뇨 작용을 하며, 말초 혈관의 수축을 유도합니다. 또한 분만 및 수유 중 평활근 수축, 인지 및 적응, 성적·모성 행동, 수분 배설 및 심혈관 기능 조절에 관여합니다. Avpr2의 활성은 adenylate cyclase를 활성화하는 G 단백질에 의해 매개됩니다.
