For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

The CTSL1 gene encodes a lysosomal cysteine proteinase involved in intracellular protein catabolism. It degrades substrates such as collagen, elastin, and alpha-1 protease inhibitor, which regulates neutrophil elastase activity. This enzyme is associated with pathological processes including myofibril necrosis, myocardial ischemia, and renal tubular response to proteinuria. CTSL1 belongs to the peptidase C1 family and forms a disulfide-linked dimer from a single precursor protein. Multiple transcript variants encoding the same protein have been identified.
