For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
If using this carrier-free antibody for conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

MEF2C is a transcription activator that binds specifically to the MEF2 element in regulatory regions of many muscle-specific genes.
It regulates cardiac morphogenesis, myogenesis, and vascular development.
MEF2C plays a critical role in hippocampal-dependent learning and memory by controlling excitatory synapse numbers and synaptic transmission.
It is essential for normal neuronal development, cortical architecture, megakaryocyte and platelet formation, as well as B-cell survival and proliferation.
Isoforms 3 and 4, which lack the repressor domain, exhibit higher activity compared to isoforms 1 and 2.
