Target Information
SGK2는 serine/threonine protein kinase로, serum- 및 glucocorticoid-induced protein kinase (SGK)와 유사합니다. SGK와 달리 SGK2는 serum이나 glucocorticoid에 의해 유도되지 않으며, phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase를 활성화하는 신호에 반응하여 발현됩니다. SGK2는 3-phosphoinositide dependent protein kinase 1 (PDK1)에 의해 인산화 및 활성화되며, 인슐린 유사 성장 인자 1에 의해서도 부분적으로 활성화됩니다.
