PIP5K1A (phosphatidylinositol-4-phosphate 5-kinase 1 alpha)는 phosphatidylinositol-4-phosphate를 인산화하여 phosphatidylinositol 4,5-bisphosphate를 형성하는 지질 키나아제입니다.
이 효소는 Wnt3a에 의해 유도되는 LRP6의 ser1490 인산화에 필수적이며, frizzled 및 disheveled 단백질과 상호작용하여 활성화됩니다.
또한, PIP5K1A 매개 PIP(2) 생성은 HIV-1의 세포 진입 및 초기 감염 단계에 중요하며, PI4P5K1A 과발현 시 HIV-1 Env 매개 PIP(2) 생성 및 바이러스 복제가 증가합니다.
