This product is preservative-free. It is recommended to add sodium azide (final concentration 0.05%–0.1%) to prevent contamination.
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. Antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits are cloned and screened to select optimal production candidates.

Target Information
Syndecans are type I integral membrane proteoglycans involved in cell–extracellular matrix adhesion and growth factor binding.
- Syndecan 1: Binds Collagens, Fibronectin, and Thrombospondin
- Syndecan 1 & 3: Interact with midkine (MK), a growth/differentiation factor involved in embryogenesis
- Syndecan 2: Highly expressed in areas of morphogenetic activity (e.g., epithelial–mesenchymal interfaces)
- Syndecan 4: Functions cooperatively with integrins in cell spreading and focal adhesion assembly
