Target Information
TREX2는 DNA 손상 후 체크포인트 신호 전달에 필요한 두 가지 주요 인간 3'→5' 엑소뉴클레아제 중 하나입니다. 관련 단백질인 TREX1은 ATR 발현에 필요하며, 해당 유전자의 돌연변이는 Aicardi-Goutières 증후군, chilblain lupus, Cree 뇌염과 연관되어 있습니다. TREX2는 모든 조직에서 널리 발현되며, X-ray 결정학 연구에 따르면 TREX2는 DNA를 이합체 형태로 결합하여 이중 가닥 DNA를 분리하고 활성 부위로 단일 가닥 DNA를 유도하는 것으로 보입니다. TREX2의 최소 두 가지 아이소폼이 존재하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다.
