Target Information
CD56 (NCAM, Neural Cell Adhesion Molecule)은 면역글로불린 패밀리에 속하는 막관통 당단백질로, 신경계 전반에 걸쳐 120–180 kDa 크기의 다양한 이소폼으로 발현됩니다.
CD56은 T 세포 및 NK 세포에서 발견되며, 세포 이동, 축삭 성장, 시냅스 가소성 등에 관여합니다.
폴리시아르산 변형은 CD56 매개 세포 부착을 감소시킵니다.
CD56은 세포외 기질 성분(예: 라미닌, 인테그린)과 결합하여 상호 작용을 매개하며, 신경외배엽 유래 세포주, 조직 및 종양(예: 망막모세포종, 수모세포종, 성상세포종, 신경모세포종)에서 발현됩니다.
또한 CD56은 신경내분비 종양 및 난소 과립세포 종양의 민감한 마커로 널리 사용됩니다.
CD56 기능 이상은 광견병 및 blastic plasmacytoid dendritic cell neoplasm과 관련이 있습니다.
