Product Specific Information

For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

IRF3 (Interferon Regulatory Factor 3) is a key transcriptional regulator of type I interferon (IFN)-dependent immune responses.
It plays a critical role in the innate immune response against DNA and RNA viruses by regulating transcription of type I IFN genes (IFN-α, IFN-β) and IFN-stimulated genes (ISG) through binding to interferon-stimulated response elements (ISRE).
IRF3 is activated via phosphorylation by IKBKE and TBK1, leading to dimerization, nuclear translocation, and activation of IFN gene transcription.
Mutations in the IRF3 gene can cause acute encephalopathy associated with herpesvirus infection.
