Product #31466 has been successfully used in Western blot, IHC and IP applications.
It reacts with the heavy chains of rabbit IgG and with the light chains common to most rabbit immunoglobulins, but does not react against non-immunoglobulin serum proteins. However, this antibody may cross-react with immunoglobulins from other species and with SuperBlock™ Blocking Buffers.

Store product at 4°C until opened. To extend shelf-life, add an equal volume of glycerol (final concentration ~50%) and store at -20°C.
Reconstitute with 0.2 mL of distilled water (1 mg/mL after restoration).

Target Information

Anti-Rabbit secondary antibodies are affinity-purified with well-characterized specificity for rabbit immunoglobulins. They are useful for detection, sorting, or purification of target proteins.
Secondary antibodies enhance versatility and sensitivity through signal amplification, as multiple secondary antibodies can bind to a single primary antibody.
Most are generated by immunizing the host animal with pooled immunoglobulins from the target species and further purified or modified (e.g., immunoaffinity chromatography, fragmentation, label conjugation) to yield highly specific reagents.
