For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

PAI-2 (SERPINB2) is an inhibitory serpin mainly expressed in keratinocytes, activated monocytes, and placental trophoblasts.
It exists as a 47 kDa nonglycosylated intracellular form and a 60 kDa glycosylated secreted form, both effective against urokinase-type plasminogen activator (uPA).
PAI-2 can form dormant polymers under physiological conditions, potentially regulating inhibitor release from producing cells.
Plasma levels increase during pregnancy and certain leukemias, with secretion peaking in the third trimester.
PAI-2 plays a key role in protecting the placenta and preventing metastatic spread in neck, lung, and breast cancers.
It also inhibits keratinocyte proliferation and participates in innate immune responses during viral infection.
