Target Information
EN1 (Engrailed homolog 1)은 배아기 복측 사지 외배엽에서 발현되는 전사 인자로, 복측 사지 패턴 형성에 필수적입니다. 또한, 발생 중인 척삭관 주변 조직(perichordal tube)에서의 발현은 척추 형성에도 관여함을 시사합니다.
마우스에서 EN1 기능이 손실되면 복측 발 구조의 배측화(dorsalization) 및 근위/원위 축의 미세한 변형이 나타납니다.
