Target Information
GPATCH3 is a protein coding gene involved in transcriptional regulation. It activates transcription from the CXCR4 promoter, potentially controlling neural crest cell migration involved in ocular and craniofacial development.
It acts as a negative regulator of immune antiviral response by down-regulating RIG-I-like receptor signaling and inhibiting type I interferon production. This mechanism involves interaction with mitochondrial MAVS and inhibition of MAVS assembly with downstream proteins such as TBK1 and TRAF6.
