For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

This gene encodes a member of the intermediate filament family containing an N-terminal head domain, a central coiled-coil region, and a short C-terminal tail.
The protein is highly expressed in skeletal and cardiac muscle, linking the dystrophin-associated protein complex (DAPC) to desmin filaments, playing a structural role in striated muscle.
Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified.
