Target Information
Cyclin D3 단백질은 세포주기 동안 단백질 발현량이 주기적으로 변하는 고도로 보존된 사이클린 패밀리에 속합니다. 사이클린은 CDK 키나아제의 조절 인자로 작용하며, 각 사이클린은 고유한 발현 및 분해 패턴을 보여 세포 분열의 시기적 조절에 기여합니다. Cyclin D3는 CDK4 또는 CDK6과 복합체를 형성하여 G1/S 전이 조절에 관여하며, 종양 억제 단백질 Rb의 인산화에도 관련됩니다. 또한 UV 조사 후 G2기에서 유사분열로의 진행에 필요한 CDK4 활성이 보고되었습니다. CCND3 유전자는 다양한 이소폼을 암호화하는 여러 전사 변이를 가지며, 관련 질환으로는 망막모세포종(Retinoblastoma)과 형질세포 백혈병(Plasma Cell Leukemia)이 있습니다.
