Specificity: PSD93. This antibody can recognize both the phosphorylated and unphosphorylated target.
Target Information
PSD-93 (also known as chapsyn-110) is a plasma membrane-associated protein found in synaptic junctions. It is expressed in Purkinje neuron cell bodies and dendrites. PSD-93 contains three PDZ domains, one SH3 domain, and an enzymatically inactive Guanylate Kinase (GuK) domain.
It participates in clustering of NMDA receptors and shaker-type potassium channels at synaptic membranes through PDZ-domain interactions, contributing to neuronal plasticity.
PSD-93 interacts with proteins sharing a T/SXV motif and can also associate with neuronal nitric oxide synthase (nNOS) via PDZ-PDZ interactions.
