Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (recommended: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
The ADH1B gene encodes a member of the alcohol dehydrogenase family, enzymes that metabolize ethanol, retinol, aliphatic alcohols, hydroxysteroids, and lipid peroxidation products.
This protein forms homo- and heterodimers of alpha, beta, and gamma subunits, exhibiting high activity for ethanol oxidation and playing a major role in ethanol catabolism.
Three genes encoding alpha, beta, and gamma subunits are tandemly organized as a gene cluster.
