For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of ~1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
I-kappa-B-zeta (also known as MAIL and INAP) is an ankyrin-repeat-containing nuclear protein highly homologous to Bcl-3.
Its transcription is upregulated by TLR ligands, IL-1, and IL-6 in B-lymphocytes and monocytes/macrophages, but only faintly in T-lymphocytes, fibroblasts, and endothelial cells.
IκB-ζ preferentially associates with NF-κB subunit p50 rather than p65, and recombinant IκB-ζ proteins inhibit DNA binding of p65/p50 heterodimer and p50/p50 homodimer.
