Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
ZSCAN4 is a key regulator in zygotic genome activation (ZGA), marking the transition from maternal to embryonic genetic control. It encodes a SCAN domain and four zinc finger domains, expressed in late 2-cell embryos and embryonic stem cells.
Loss-of-function studies indicate that ZSCAN4 deficiency causes delayed embryonic development. It also plays roles in telomere maintenance and genomic stability in ES cells, suggesting its importance in maintaining pluripotency.
