Product Specific Information
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
HUS1B is closely related to HUS1, a component of a cell cycle checkpoint protein complex involved in cell cycle arrest in response to DNA damage.
HUS1B interacts with the checkpoint protein RAD1 but not with RAD9. Overexpression of HUS1B induces cell death, suggesting a related but distinct role compared to HUS1.
The protein encoded by this gene is most closely related to HUS1 and participates in the DNA damage response pathway.
