Target Information
PCNA (polymerase delta auxiliary protein)은 DNA 복제에 필수적이며 DNA 절제 및 불일치 수선 경로에 관여합니다.
PCNA는 CDK 억제제 p21, endonuclease Fen1, XPG 및 DNA cytosine 5-methyltransferase (MCMT)와 결합합니다.
세포 증식 잠재력을 가진 세포 또는 종양 조직의 증식 상태를 식별하는 유용한 마커로 사용됩니다.
PCNA는 세포 주기의 초기 G1 단계와 S 단계에서 발현되며, 핵 내에 존재하고 DNA polymerase delta의 보조 인자로 작용합니다.
DNA 손상에 반응하여 PCNA는 유비퀴틴화되며 RAD6 의존적 DNA 수선 경로에 관여합니다.
두 가지 전사 변이체가 알려져 있으며, 염색체 4번과 X 염색체에 pseudogene이 보고되었습니다.
