Target Information
CCL14 유전자는 17q11.2에 위치한 여러 CC 사이토카인 유전자 중 하나입니다. CC 사이토카인은 두 개의 인접한 시스테인을 특징으로 하는 분비 단백질로, 단핵구에서 세포 내 칼슘 농도와 효소 방출 변화를 유도합니다.
이 유전자는 단일 전사체(monocistronic)와 이중 전사체(bicistronic)를 모두 발현하며, 후자는 상위 유전자 CCL15를 포함합니다. 또한 CCL14는 이중 전사체에서 대체 스플라이싱을 겪으며, 단일 전사체에서도 동일한 현상이 일어나는지는 알려져 있지 않습니다.
