Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, an additional desalting step is recommended (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
The VSNL1 gene belongs to the visinin/recoverin subfamily of neuronal calcium sensor proteins. The encoded protein is highly expressed in cerebellar granule cells, associates with membranes in a calcium-dependent manner, and modulates intracellular signaling pathways in the central nervous system by regulating adenylyl cyclase activity. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been reported, though their full-length sequences are not fully characterized.
