• Reconstitution:
  Add 25 µL, 50 µL, or 0.2 mL of double distilled water (DDW) depending on sample size.
  The antibody ships as a lyophilized powder at room temperature. Upon arrival, store at -20°C.
  Reconstituted solution can be stored at 4°C for up to 1 week. For longer storage, aliquot and store at -20°C.
  Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles. Centrifuge all antibody preparations before use (10,000 × g, 5 min).

Target Information

GAP43 (Neuromodulin) is associated with nerve growth. It is expressed by developing and regenerating neurons, and to a lesser extent by reactive glial cells. GAP43 is a major component of the motile growth cones that form the tips of elongating axons and plays a role in axonal and dendritic filopodia induction.
