MAGEB1 유전자는 MAGEB 유전자 패밀리에 속하며, 모든 코딩 서열이 마지막 엑손에 위치합니다. 이 패밀리의 단백질은 서로 50~68%의 서열 유사성을 가지며, 프로모터와 첫 번째 엑손의 다양성으로 인해 동일 기능이 다양한 전사 조절 하에서 발현될 수 있습니다.
