Target Information
Transglutaminase (TGase)는 Ca²⁺ 결합이 필요한 단백질 교차결합 효소로, e-(γ-glutamyl) lysine 이소펩타이드 결합을 형성합니다. 포유류에서는 8가지 TGase 아이소엔자임이 확인되었으며, Tissue transglutaminase (tTGase, TGase 2)는 N-말단 β-sandwich, catalytic core, 그리고 두 개의 C-말단 β-barrel 도메인을 포함합니다. tTGase는 세포사, 증식, 분화 및 수용체 매개 엔도사이토시스에 관여하며, 알츠하이머병 뇌에서는 Ab peptide, β-amyloid precursor protein, tau 단백질의 중합을 통해 신경섬유 엉킴 형성에 기여합니다.
