Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using the carrier-free antibody, perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
Regulator of G protein signaling (RGS) proteins are signal transduction molecules homologous to SST2 of Saccharomyces cerevisiae and EGL-10 of Caenorhabditis elegans.
RGS proteins regulate heterotrimeric G proteins by acting as GTPase activators.
Human RGS5 mRNA is abundantly expressed in heart, lung, skeletal muscle, and small intestine, with lower expression in brain, placenta, liver, colon, and leukocytes.
