Target Information
GRK1은 G 단백질 결합 수용체 키나제(GRK) 아형에 속하는 Serine/Threonine kinase 계열의 단백질로, rhodopsin을 인산화하여 비활성화 과정을 시작합니다. G 단백질 매개 인산화는 arrestin 결합을 촉진하여 수용체 신호 전달을 종료시킵니다. GRK1은 막 결합을 촉진하기 위해 farnesylation되며, Calcium 결합 단백질인 recoverin에 의해 억제될 수 있음이 보고되었습니다. GRK1 단백질 기능 이상은 Oguchi Disease-2 및 Hereditary Night Blindness와 관련이 있습니다.
