Target Information
Dual-specificity phosphatases(DUSPs)는 type I cysteine-based protein-tyrosine phosphatase 계열의 이질적인 하위 그룹으로, tyrosine과 serine/threonine 잔기를 모두 탈인산화할 수 있는 특징을 가집니다.
DUSP16은 MKP(MAPK phosphatase) 계열에 속하며, ERK, JNK, p38 MAPK 단백질을 탈인산화합니다. MKP 단백질은 C-말단의 보존된 촉매 도메인과 N-말단의 Cdc25-like 도메인을 포함합니다. MAPK 활성화 경로는 세포 증식, 세포사멸, 분화 및 스트레스 반응 등 다양한 생리적 과정을 매개합니다.
