Target Information
LDL 관련 단백질인 LRP5와 LRP6은 LDL receptor superfamily에 속하며, canonical Wnt 신호전달 경로에 관여합니다.
LRP6은 Wnt1과 결합하여 Xenopus 배아에서 Wnt 유도 발달 과정을 촉진하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다.
LRP6 결핍 생쥐는 여러 Wnt 단백질 결핍 시 나타나는 발달 이상과 유사한 결함을 보입니다.
또한, Wnt 단백질은 LRP5가 Axin에 결합하도록 유도하여 Axin 분해와 β-catenin 안정화를 유발함이 보고되었습니다.
