Product Specific Information
- Store vial at 4°C prior to opening.
- Centrifuge if not clear after standing at room temperature.
- Stable for several weeks at 4°C as undiluted liquid.

Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-Rabbit Serum as well as purified and partially purified Glutathione-S-Transferase (Schistosoma japonicum). Cross-reactivity with GST from other sources may occur but has not been specifically determined.
Target Information
GST (Glutathione S-transferase) is a 26 kDa protein found in both eukaryotes and prokaryotes, catalyzing various reactions. It is widely used in the GST gene fusion system, allowing purification of GST-fusion proteins via glutathione affinity. GST-fusion proteins are valuable tools for studying direct protein–protein interactions. The GST gene fusion system is incorporated into numerous expression vectors.
