Target Information
This gene encodes a member of the cyclophilin family. Cyclophilins catalyze the cis-trans isomerization of peptidylprolyl imide bonds in oligopeptides. They may act as catalysts or molecular chaperones in protein-folding events. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
