Target Information
MYBPC2 유전자는 myosin-binding protein C 패밀리에 속하며, 빠른형(fast), 느린형(slow), 심장형(cardiac) isoform으로 구성됩니다. 이들은 횡문근의 A band 내 C 영역에 위치한 myosin 관련 단백질입니다. MYBPC2는 빠른형 isoform을 암호화하며, 관련 질환으로는 Lethal Congenital Contracture Syndrome 4 및 Nemaline Myopathy 9이 알려져 있습니다. 느린형 및 심장형 isoform 유전자 변이는 각각 distal arthrogryposis type 1 및 hypertrophic cardiomyopathy와 연관되어 있습니다.
