Target Information
Guanine nucleotide-binding proteins (G proteins) act as modulators or transducers in various transmembrane signaling systems.
GNA13 activates RhoA via RhoGEFs (ARHGEF1/p115RhoGEF, ARHGEF11/PDZ-RhoGEF, ARHGEF12/LARG), influencing transcription factor AP-1 and promoting tumor cell invasion and metastasis through RhoA/ROCK signaling.
It also inhibits CDH1-mediated cell adhesion independently of Rho activation. [UniProt]
